Description of Classes
Beginners Class
A two month cycle of classes covering basic technique,
movement, and rolling. Gain confidence, coordination,
balance, posture, power, relaxation, and grace. You may
enroll in this class at any time.

Intermediate Class
A six month cycle of classes covering intermediate
techniques and rolling, including topics such as
weapons take-aways, multiple attackers, reversals,
and freestyle training. Two months of Beginning Class
or instructor approval is required.

Advanced Class
Advanced class contains the highest, consistent level of training for serious aikidoka. Two months of Intermediate class or instructor approval is required.

Murashige Shihan
This Intermediate+ level class is taught by master instructor Morihiko Murashige shihan.

Youth Aikido
The values and philosophy of aikido make it the perfect martial art for growing bodies and minds. Get more information on our kid's aikido program at the Youth Class page.

Weapons Class
Bokken (wooden sword), jo (staff), and shinai (bamboo sword) practice covering weapons handling, movement,
cutting, and paired exercises (kumitachi and kumijo).

Ukemi (Rolling/Falling)
All types and levels of rolling and falling. Beginners are highly encouraged to attend this class.

Suburi Class
Basic handling and cutting practice with sword and staff. Students must graduate this class to attend the Weapons class.
