About SystemaSystema is an old martial art of Russia, used by the Russian Special Forces (Spetsnaz). It focuses mainly on using natural body movements to control the opponent through pressure point application, striking and weapon applications.Relaxation, breathing, and principles are learned through drills and sparring instead of set techniques. Ken Good has studied and practiced Systema under Vladimir Vasiliev for the past 7 years.
A former Naval Special Warfare operator, Ken is experienced in doctrines of small unit tactics, communication procedures, use of weapons, demolition techniques, employment of pyrotechnics, land, sea and airborne operations, parachuting, closed and open circuit SCUBA diving.
His military experience also includes the instruction of techniques and doctrine to members of foreign militaries. He has trained thousands of military, law enforcement, and security personnel over the last twenty years. |
