About Vinyasa Flow Yoga

Vinyasa Yoga is a flowing style of yoga that links breath with movement.
  1. Yoga is practiced barefoot on a mat.
  2. Avoid any heavy meals at least two hours before class.
  3. Drink plenty of water during the day – it is essential even when you are not practicing yoga.
  4. Wear comfortable exercise clothes that will stretch.
  5. You don't have to be flexible to do yoga. In yoga we work on our flexibility.
  6. Honor your body. You grow in your own pace on your own mat.

About Our Instructor

Jennie Olson Jennie began her personal practice of yoga in 2000. From the first time going into Savasana and experiencing a deep meditative state she was hooked. She has studied a variety of styles including Kundalini, Vinyasa, Ashtanga and the popular Power Style and received her 200 hour Yoga Alliance certification through Core Power Yoga in 2007. She believes that yoga will support people in their own journey in life and that anyone regardless of flexibility and ability "can grow at their own pace on their mat". Laughter is often heard in Jennie's classes, reminding people to take their yoga practice seriously but not themselves too seriously.
